Orders & shipping

How long does shipping take?

Orders are usually processed within 1–3 business days. Most orders then arrive within 3–8 business days. Some items shipped directly by our brand partners can take 7–15 business days. See our Shipping Policy for details.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is $8.00, and free on orders of $70 or more. Express shipping is $15.00. For items shipped by our partners, shipping is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

Why did my order arrive in more than one package?

Companion Outpost works with several brand partners, so a single order can ship from different warehouses and arrive in separate packages on different days. You'll get tracking for each one.

How do I track my order?

We'll email you a tracking number as soon as your order ships. You can also check your order status by logging in to your account.

Do you ship outside the United States?

We currently ship within the United States only. We’re hoping to offer international shipping in the future.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Returns & refunds

What is your return policy?

You can return most unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Some items can't be returned once opened, such as treats, chews and supplements. Please read our Refund Policy and contact us before sending anything back, as return addresses vary by product.

My item arrived damaged or wrong. What do I do?

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a few photos. We'll arrange a replacement or refund.

When will I get my refund?

Once your return is received and checked, we'll refund your original payment method. It usually appears within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

How does Companion Outpost choose its products?

We stock gear from established pet brands that's made to last and rated highly by dog owners. Read more on our About page.

How do I pick the right size?

Check the size guide or measurements on the product page and measure your dog first. If you're between sizes or unsure, send us your dog's measurements, breed and weight and we'll help you choose.

Are your toys indestructible?

No dog toy is truly indestructible. We list honest safety notes on each toy, including which ones aren't suited to extreme chewers. Always supervise playtime and replace a toy once it's damaged.

Are supplements safe for my dog?

Follow the feeding guide on the label for your dog's weight. If your dog is pregnant, nursing, on medication or has a health condition, check with your vet before starting any supplement.
