IS IT RIGHT FOR YOUR DOG?
This ring holds up well for most dogs, including many strong chewers. But we don’t recommend it for extreme power chewers. Some owners of very determined chewers have told us their dog tore it apart within a few hours to a day. If your dog destroys tough rubber toys quickly, this probably isn’t the toy for them.
Safety & Care
- Supervise playtime. No dog toy is truly indestructible. Watch your dog while they chew, especially the first few times.
- Check it before each use. If it’s cracked, torn or missing pieces, take it away.
- Pick the right size. It’s made for medium to large dogs. Small dogs and puppies may find it too big or heavy.
- Give them time to warm up to it. Natural rubber has no added scent or flavor, so some dogs aren’t interested at first. Try tug or fetch, or rub a little of their favorite treat on it.
- It’s a toy, not a chew treat. If you think your dog has swallowed a piece, call your vet.
